Apprentice Plumbing & Heating Engineer
Gillies Group is looking for motivated and reliable Apprentice Plumbing & Heating Engineers to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for individuals who are keen to learn, willing to work hard, and serious about building a long-term career in the plumbing and heating trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified engineers with plumbing and heating installations and repairs.
- Learn fault diagnosis and basic system testing.
- Support work on boilers, pipework, and heating systems.
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and work areas safely and responsibly.
- Follow health and safety procedures and company standards at all times.
- Attend college or training as required as part of the apprenticeship.
- Develop practical skills, technical knowledge, and professional working habits.

- Willingness to learn and take instruction.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Positive attitude and good communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Commitment to completing the apprenticeship and progressing in the trade.
Previous experience is not essential, but any practical or site-based experience is an advantage.
